About Us

The Bartender's Professional Training Institute, Inc., began training students in Buffalo in September of 1992. Within 6 months we opened schools in Rochester and Syracuse.
We are the largest, most-successful Professional Bartending School in New York State. The owner has owned and operated restaurants and bars for over 16 years.
We believe that bartending is best learned in a hands-on training environment. Ten percent of each class consists of instructor-led lectures which are intensely informational.
Ninety percent of each class consists of working behind a fully stocked bar station mixing, blending, shaking and learning the very latest cocktail and shooter recipes.
Our classroom atmosphere is relaxed, warm and friendly. Our instructors care about you and are serious about your success!
Each class is limited in size, guaranteeing that your instructors will be able to provide you with individualized instruction.

Our bartending school is conveniently located about 5 miles northwest of Syracuse in Liverpool. Simply take 81N to RT 370 to CR137. Our street address is 634 Old Liverpool Road and we have plenty of free parking.
